The Direct Admissions Scheme is designed for applicants seeking admission on the basis of qualifications other than HKDSE results such as Higher Diploma, Associate Degree should apply to the University via direct admission. International high schools students or non-local applicants with International Baccalaureate, GCEAL or other examination results should also apply through this route.

Successful applicants graduated from Higher Diploma or Associate Degree can apply for credit transfer for particular courses once registered.  Credits transferred will be counted to the total required credits for the degree.
