The University administers a number of scholarships. Most are awarded to students, without application, on the strength of academic merit and the recommendations of the department. Some are awarded based on open competition among all universities in Hong Kong. Our CPEG students have been doing extremely well in competing for these scholarships, including highly competitive ones such as the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarship and others. The Hong Kong SAR Government also provides financial assistance schemes to needy students.
