Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) aims to provide undergraduate students with some research experience through participating in faculty-led research projects. They will be involved in developing a research plan, writing proposal, conducting research, analyzing data, and presenting results. They will also obtain hands-on experience of some of the state-of-the-art research facilities at HKUST. A written report is required upon completion of the project.

Projects are available in Fall semester, Spring semester and Summer session. UROP awards and scholarships are established for participating students.
